‘Blue Christmas’ offers solace after rough year

There will be two Blue Christmas services offered in Durango this year:



The Spiritual Care Department at Mercy Regional Medical Center will hold its annual service at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mercy Chapel, which is inside the rotunda.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave., will hold its annual service at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 as part of the Community Advent Service Series. A soup supper will not be served afterward.
