Countywide Project Merry Christmas shows spirit of giving

Event spreads cheer to needy families
Volunteers from Durango Fire & Rescue Authority, the Durango Police Department and others gathered at the National Guard Armory early Saturday to load numerous DFRA vehicles to deliver food, clothing and toys to 501 families in La Plata County participating in Project Merry Christmas.
