Pagosa Springs’ girls serve up a tall order

Plenty of Ignacio girls scored Tuesday night against Pagosa Springs, but head coach Justa Whitt said something was missing. “Our chemistry wasn’t there (Tuesday night),” Whitt said. “Definitely didn’t have our chemistry right.”
Pagosa’s Taylor Strohecker towered over Mariah Vigil and Ignacio on Tuesday. Strohecker led all scorers with 22 points, more than half of the Pirates’ total offense.
Sky Cotton scored a team-leading nine points for Igancio as they tried to find a way around Emily Bryant and Pagosa Springs.
