Volunteers needed for film festival
The 2013 Durango Film festival will take place Feb. 27March 3.
Training dates for new theater volunteers will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 9 and 23 in the dance studio at Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave. Volunteers who work three shifts will receive a fourpunch movie pass.

Concert will benefit high school orchestra
The Durango High School Instrumental Music Program will hold its second annual Dinner Show at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the DHS cafeteria, 2390 Main Ave. The concert will feature the DHS Jazz Band and Orchestra with special guests Jeff Solon and Arkady Fomin.
Tickets cost $25 and include the concert as well as a plated dinner served by the students. All proceeds will go directly to the students to help purchase much needed instruments and music.
