Don’t brace, embrace the Super Cold Bowl

NFL will welcome weather to New York along with the 2014 Super Bowl
Football is heading to New York next February. Cold weather be darned, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Super Bowl XLVIII at Met Life Stadium will embrace the weather. “Football is meant to be played in the elements,” Goodell said.
Instead of New Orleans, the official game balls for Super Bowl XLVIII will be headed to New York and New Jersey in 2014. An early estimate suggested the 2014 Super Bowl could generate $550 million to $600 million in economic activity on both sides of the Hudson River, host committee president Al Kelly said.
