Learn Argentine tango for free tonight

Daniela Arcuri, a master dance instructor from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will give free dance lessons at 8 p.m. today at Four Leaves Winery, 528 Main Ave.

Argentine tango is a style of music and the social dance that accompanies it. While a version of tango is performed in professional ballroom dancing, a social style is practiced in communities all around the world that is much more intimate and passionate. Social Tango, as it is known, is much less rigid than its professional cousin.

Arcuri also will give workshops Saturday and Sunday at The Dance Studio at 26369 U.S. Highway 550/160 (across from Home Depot).

There is a charge for both days, which will also feature music by Qtango of Albuquerque.
