Austin Miles finally gets a phone call: CSU-Pueblo
For a while there, Durango High School senior Austin Miles wasn’t sure if he’d get the opportunity to play college football. Then, his phone started ringing, and he chose CSU-Pueblo, an RMAC and Division II powerhouse. “It’s so fun to watch him as the phone rings, and he talks to this coach and that coach, to see him light up,” mom Mary Miles said.
Austin Miles, flanked by his parents, Hugh and Mary Miles, signed his national letter of intent Wednesday at Durango High School to play college football for CSU-Pueblo. His friend Hadley Larsen, grandmother Barbara Sammons and coaches Justin Bates, Roberto Porras, Rustin Bartel and Mike Jaramillo also attended the signing.
