Nancy Peake, president of Friends of the Durango Public Library, left, and Kay Neal arrange books at the library book sale that will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today. Fiction, paperback, children and young adult books are being sold for $1.50 per pound, while vintage books dated mainly from the late 1880s through the early 1900s are individually priced. Organizer Lela Boyer estimated about 10,000 books are available, with audio books, VHS tapes and DVDs also available.
