City workers had busy winter

Pipes from ’40s, ’50s are only buried 2 feet and are showing their age
Workers with the Department of Public Works Water & Wastewater Division working on a home on East Sixth Avenue on Thursday said Durango homeowners should make sure their outside water valve, known as a curb stop, is not obstructed, so water can be turned off in an emergency.
