Durango Film festival kicks off Wednesday

Wednesday: Free movie night (6 and 9 p.m. screenings) at Gaslight Cinema.

Thursday: Films screened at both venues 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Native American Film Reception, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Rochester Hotel (726 East Second Ave.); Gallery Walk, 5-9 p.m., 11 galleries; Native American films, 7-9 p.m., Southern Ute Cultural Center & Museum, 77 County Road 517, Ignacio.

Friday: Films screened at both venues 9 a.m.-midnight; Meet the Filmmakers party, 6-9 p.m., Irish Embassy Pub, 900 Main Ave.

Saturday: Films screened at both venues 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Panels (at Back Space Theatre, 1120 Main Ave.): “Making Movies from the Inside Out,” 10 a.m.; “Change This!”, noon.

Sunday: Films screened at both venues 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Panel: “Scene Missing” with Alex Cox, 1-3 p.m.; Festival Wrap Party, 6-9 p.m., Lost Dog Bar & Lounge, 1150 Main Ave.
