Spotlight shines on Purgatory Freestyle Team

Local skiers account for 12 percent of the 60-athlete Junior Nationals
Nathan Youssef next will go airborne at the United States Ski Association Junior Nationals next week in Park City, Utah. Youssef was one of seven Purgatory Freestyle Team members to make the prestigious 60-team field and will compete in aerials.
The slope at Chapman Hill has helped George McQuinn and the Purgatory Freestyle Team stay sharp all season long. The end result is a trip for seven to Junior Nationals next week in Park City, Utah. McQuinn will be defending his combined championship.
