The Wolverines started off their season with a big no-no.
A no hitter, that is.
Clay Miller pitched four innings with 10 strikeouts, two walks and no hits, Matthew Knickerbocker pitched three with four strikeouts, one walk and no hits, and the Bayfield High School baseball team beat Farmingtons junior varsity 7-0 on Thursday in Farmington.
Wasnt a perfect game for us by any means, but it was a great game, BHS head coach Tom Horton said.
Knickerbocker was 2-for-4, Miller was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and five stolen bases, freshman Zane Phelps was 2-for-3, and Kelton McCoy was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
