Nancy Stoffer, coordinator of Diversity Programming at Fort Lewis College, spearheaded the project A Light to Remember. The decorated candle display at the colleges Exhibit Gallery is a way for people to celebrate Womens History Month through sharing a part of ones own history, Stoffer said. People decorated more than 170 candles with a picture of important women in their lives. The show ends Tuesday, when all of the candles will be lit.
