Airborne Media makes finalist cut
Durango-based Airborne Media Group Inc., developers of new technology Audioair, has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Colorado Companies to Watch competition, hosted by the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade.
The statewide awards program, developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation, seeks to showcase trend-setting leaders in diverse entrepreneurial fields that strengthen the state’s economy. Businesses are nominated by peers and associates, and must then move through an application process and meet certain criteria in order to qualify. Audioair was nominated by four separate individuals for the competition and competes among a field of hundreds of nominees throughout the state.
Airborne Media Group Inc. is a privately held corporation founded in 2010. Its newly invented technology, Audioair, is designed to deliver a new entertainment and information-distribution experience by permitting users of smartphones to privately listen in to televisions in all types of venues where they must be muted for noise considerations.
