Two-time Israeli mountain bike champion Rotem Ishay conquered the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic mountain bike course, winning the three-lap men’s race in 1 hour, 22 minutes, 22.8 seconds, good for a margin of nearly 1½ minutes over runner-up Sepp Kuss. Ishay, the former Fort Lewis College cyclist, was fourth in Saturday’s road race.

Evelyn Dong topped the women’s professional field at the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic mountain bike race Sunday in downtown Durango, finishing in 1 hour, 38 minutes, 12.6 seconds, more than 2½ minutes ahead of runner-up Jen Gersbach Venzara. Durangoan and former Fort Lewis College cyclist Sarah Sturm was third.
