Vendors are sought for 15th Brewfest
The 15th annual San Juan Brewfest seeks food vendors for Aug. 24.
The fee to participate is $75, and the vendor will keep all other profits. The Brewfest will be held from noon to 5 p.m. in Buckley Park.

Wellness program for seniors offered
Rite Aid will host “Wellness 65+” for senior citizens older than 65 years from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at 28 Town Plaza.
Free consultations with the pharmacist about medications, immunizations and other issues will be available to senior citizens. Blood pressure testing also will be offered from the pharmacy. Free samples and grab bags will be available to the public. Free samples will include face moisturizer, vitamin supplements, face wash, body lotion and more. There also will be free refreshments and snacks available.

Trails 2000 to host trailwork party
Trails 2000 will host a trailwork party from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with Crew Leader Grady James on Shocker and Tawker Trails adjacent to the Fort Lewis College campus.
Participants should meet on Goeglein Gulch Road at the trail. People should sign in at the Trails 2000 truck, which will be parked at the Shocker/Tawker trailhead. The trailwork will be sponsored by Durango Ska/Zia Mountain Bike Team. Volunteers should wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sun hat and bring a water bottle. Trails 2000 will provide the tools and instruction.
Snacks and refreshments will follow the trail work.

Knitting guild to meet Saturday
