DHS football to host the 5A Tigers without its QB1 and RB1
Durango High School football will be without the services of quarterback/defensive back Jeremy Szura after he suffered a shoulder injury last week against Palisade. DHS head coach David Vogt said Szura likely is week-to-week but will miss Friday night’s home game against Grand Junction.
Durango High School football lost leading rusher Tyler Worley to a knee injury against Palisade, and his return is uncertain pending the results of his magnetic resonance imaging exam he underwent Thursday. DHS will host Grand Junction at 7 p.m. Friday at DHS Stadium.
