Bill Corwin of Durango is excelling in the 98th percentile of the Gridiron Green.
He’s scored no less than nine points a week, has three scores in the double digits and has a high of 13. And now, with 12 out of 14 correct in the Week 5 pick-a-team, any-team business that is the NFL, he finally has a weekly Gridiron Green championship to call his own.
Corwin’s 53-point total is two behind our Colorado co-leaders, cardoc and bojangles, who share twin 55s atop our Green leaderboard. There are three 54s and four 53s, including our Mr. Corwin.
The Gridiron Guru is far behind at 41-35, but he did have his best week yet at 10-4, including such doozies as Indianapolis over the undefeated Seattle Seahawks at home and Baltimore over the one-loss Miami Dolphins on the road.
Nice work, Guru; nice work. My extreme prognosticating powers predict the best is yet to come.
Bye: Atlanta, Miami.
