Durango man to be sentenced for stealing, selling art

Brandon Donahue, former manager at Open Shutter Gallery in Durango, has pleaded guilty to felony theft in connection with selling stolen photographic prints, including the world-famous “Afghan Girl,” which appeared in June 1985 on the cover of National Geographic. Sentencing is set for May 17 in Durango.
