The Ignacio High School volleyball team attacked its way to victory against Ridgway on Friday night in Ignacio.
Ignacio cruised to a straight-sets win – 25-10, 25-17, 25-16 – to improve its record to 4-13 overall in its first season under head coach Baylie Stillwell.
Senior Morgan Gantt led the team with seven kills, and fellow senior Kristie Ribera and junior Santana Rodriguez had six and five kills, respectively.
Rodriguez led the Bobcats defensivly with 11 digs. Ribera and junior Rose Mirabel had six digs each.
The Bobocats will look to carry their momentum into their 10 a.m. game today at Norwood High School.
