I hope the Herald is going to seek out city employees who are union members, since the political advocacy of Democrat-supporting public employee unions is well known. We should not be paying employees city funds that wind up being transferred to various politically aligned unions.
And lord help us if any union meetings are being held in municipally owned buildings. We should root such advocacy out in the same way the Herald went after National Rifle Association members.
And no, I’m not an NRA member.
Editor’s note: According to City Manager Ron LeBlanc, the city of Durango has no dealings whatsoever with any unions.
