Music in the Mountains to kick off 28th season

Here’s the schedule for the first week:
Noon Monday: Free concert by the Mana Quartet in the lobby of First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
7:30 P.M. MONDAY: Meet the faculty of Conservatory Music in the Mountains at the First United Methodist Church of Durango, 2917 Aspen Drive.
7 p.m. Tuesday: Benefit concert by Mana Quartet at the Glacier Club.
7 p.m. Wednesday: Rainbow Run chamber concert at the River Church, 860 Plymouth Drive.
7:30 P.M. THURSDAY: Altius Quartet chamber concert at Roshong Recital Hall in Jones Hall at Fort Lewis College.
7:30 P.M. FRIDAY: Todo Mundo concert at Buckley Park.
10:15 A.M. JULY 19: Pop-up performance with conservatory students and faculty at the Durango Farmers Market.
5:30 P.M. JULY 19: Festival Orchestra will play “All-Time Greatest Hits” with Aviram Reichert on piano playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat “Emperor” at the Festival Tent at Durango Mountain Resort.
5:30 P.M. JULY 20: Festival Orchestra will play “Adventurous Spirit” with guest flutist Carol Wincec at Durango Mountain Resort.
