Having read the story headlined DMR pulls critic's pass" (Herald, Nov. 19), I can only hope that there is much more to
the story. Otherwise, how sad for Durango Mountain Resort and how embarrassing for, and petty of, its management that
it cannot tolerate criticism from members of the skiing public.
Is this an example of the kind of goodwill that the local skiing community should expect from DMR going forward? I
wonder - had Lauren Slaff purchased a home from DMR, rather than a season pass, would it have reacted to her criticism
by refunding her purchase price and accepting the return of the property?
