Laura Gott helps customers Wednesday at the stand, which opened Nov. 24 in Durango and includes winter vegetables, fresh cider and several varieties of apples from the Ignacio farm. “We had a good drive-by market for tourists at our Sunnyside stand,” said Bruce Gott, “but we wanted to get back into town for the Durango customers.” A 7-pound bag of apples costs $11.50, and a gallon of cider is $6. The stand is open Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It may also be open additional weekdays. For a recorded message, call 884-2227.
