Fort Lewis College men’s soccer player RJ Parke holds up a ceramic soccer ball coin bank as Shamia Billingsly, 8, uses her fingers to paint the ball Friday at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital of Tampa. Parke, along with FLC teammate and fellow Durango High School graduate Zane Wells, and other members of final four NCAA Division II men’s and women’s teams, traveled on their off day to visit children at the hospital. Fort Lewis plays at 2 p.m. (MST) today in Tampa for the men’s championship.
