The No. 3 Fort Lewis College women came storming back from their first defeat of the season Friday night to beat the
Regis Rangers 81-65 Saturday night in Denver.
The Skyhawks took control in the first half and went into the locker room at halftime with a 12-point, 41-29 lead.
After the break, the Rangers started to chip away at the 'Hawks' lead, but the women held them off for the win.

Fort Lewis had four players with double digits in the scoring column, led by Abby Jackson who had 18 on the night, and she went 6 of 7 from behind the arc.
Abby was big for us, she shot really well (Saturday)," Kellogg said.
Allison Rosel ended her night with 15 points, and Audrey George scored 12 to go along with her six steals.
FLC ramped up the defensive pressure Saturday night, forcing 16 turnovers by half and ending the night with 23.
Our defensive pressure really got us going," Kellogg said.
Kellogg said Katie Mackey led the team on the defensive side of the ball.
I told her (Mackey) after the game that she played as good as she has in her three-and-a-half years with us,"
The Fort Lewis women's team will be back in action Friday night at Whalen Gym against Chadron State College (6 p.m.).
