Police on Tuesday identified a man who was found dead Monday lying in a snowdrift outside his home in Durango.
An autopsy was performed Tuesday morning on Gerald Nichols, 64. Results from the autopsy, including determining the
cause of death, were pending.
An incorrect age of the victim was provided to the Herald on Monday.
Police said no foul play is suspected.
Nichols was found shortly before 3 p.m. Monday by a postal worker in the west 100 block of 22nd Street.
