After two days of eight-hour sales Tuesday and Wednesday, there were 125 tickets remaining as of 3 p.m. Wednesday for
the Durango High School-Montezuma-Cortez High School boys and girls basketball rivalry games tonight in Cortez.
Deawne Maddox, the athletics/activities assistant at DHS, said today's sales will remain open to the public until
DHS will finish its regular season on the road with a pair of Southwestern League basketball games tonight against its
archrival, Montezuma-Cortez. The girls game will start at 5:30 p.m., and the boys game will follow at 7. Don Piccoli
will call the play-by-play for both games on KDGO 1240 AM.
Of the 200 tickets available to DHS fans, only 75 have been sold in two days.
Tickets are $5 apiece, and sales will be available from 8 a.m. to noon today. There is a five-ticket limit per
