This year, the second time the event has been run, 170 riders came from 21 states to join the effort. The funds raised by the ride go to the Sophia Peace Center in Dolores, which supports free or low-cost retreats for charities, allowing them to become more effective as well as providing a relaxing atmosphere for nonprofit workers. The event raised $7,100.
