About: Katie Klingsporn grew up in Wyoming and graduated from journalism school at the University of Montana. After a short stint reporting at The Daily Triplicate in Crescent City, California, she returned to the Rocky Mountain West to work for the Daily Planet newspaper in Telluride, where she started as a reporter and worked her way to editor. After eight years covering festivals, town government, arts and elections in Telluride, she moved to Durango to work as the arts & entertainment editor at the Herald.
