FLC’s Friday games postponed

RMAC announces five more postponements on Thursday

COVID-19 continues to disrupt the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, which announced Thursday that five games originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday have been postponed.

The Fort Lewis College women’s and men’s basketball games against Chadron State College, originally scheduled for Friday in Whalen Gymnasium, have been postponed in accordance with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference COVID-19 protocols.

The New Mexico Highlands men’s games against CSU Pueblo and Adams State, as well as the women’s game Western Colorado and Black Hills State also were postponed.

Chadron is still scheduled to play at Western Colorado this weekend, but the game times changed to 5 p.m. Saturday for the men and 1 p.m. Sunday for the women.

A makeup date for the matchup between the Skyhawks and Eagles has not been scheduled. Further information regarding the potential rescheduling of these games will be announced by the conference at a later time.

Last week, two FLC men’s games and one women’s game were postponed.

FLC is scheduled to return to action Jan. 21 at home against CSU Pueblo. The women’s game will be at 5:30 p.m., and the men’s game will follow at 7:30 p.m.
