“Thirty-one years in and we have one of the most diverse Telluride Blues & Brews Festival lineups ever,” Festival Director and Founder Steve Gumble said in a news release. “Our favorite brothers and recent Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame nominees, The Black Crowes return for the first time since 2013 in the top slot. They have to be one of our favorite acts over the years and will surely bring a fierce mix of Southern Rock, blues and soul. We’re thrilled to welcome funk phenom, Thundercat for his Telluride debut that will groove us Saturday night. And I look forward to hearing that unmistakable voice and country-blues from Lukas Nelson again on our stage.”
Artists will perform on three stages, and, according to the new release, the festival will also host a wide variety of local and regional food and craft vendors; cozy after hours club shows; stand up comedy shows; and VIP and Super VIP experiences. There will also be an assortment of special events throughout the festival, including a 5K fundraiser race; free yoga; group hikes; the Telluride Blues Challenge; intimate Campground Session performances and more.
And as far as the “brews” in Telluride Blues and Brews, there will be more than 20 breweries on display at the festival for the Brewers Showcase with four tasting sessions, a multicourse beer pairing dinner, a special showcase of Colorado beer presented by the Colorado Brewers Guild and more.
