Colorado Department of Transportation will conduct survey work beginning Wednesday, April 26, on Highway 145, about 18 miles north of Dolores, as part of a study to examine areas prone to rock falls.
The topographical survey will involve the use of drones and will require traffic to stop occasionally.
Motorists can expect up to 20-minute delays on Highway 145 between County Road 40 and County Road 43 (Taylor Creek Road), near Stoner Creek, and will encounter traffic-control personnel from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a reduced speed limit of 40 mph.
