Colorado Connections Academy suggests summer learning tips

Amy Davis, assistant principal and Colorado Connections Academy site administrator, will offer tips to keep kids learning during the summer at 6:30 p.m. July 24 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.

According to the National Summer Learning Association, children can lose up to two months of essential math and reading skills during the summer months. Some suggestions about how to keep kids engaged in educational activities during the summer and in preparation for their return to school in the fall, are available on the Colorado Connections Academy website at www.connectionsacademy.com:
