“American Hospitals: Healing a Broken System” will have its premiere from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

After the movie, Guinn Unger, president of Colorado Healthcare Coalition, will lead a discussion about why hospital costs are spiraling out of control and what can be done. Fact sheets about discounted hospital care and surprise billing will be available at the library after the movie is shown.
