To celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, El Moro Spirits and Tavern will host a CRAFT food and cocktail pairing event, from 7 to 9 p.m. El Moro is partnering with Steamworks Brewing Co. and Suerte Tequila. The restaurant will be closed to the public for the evening.

“CRAFT will feature six stations, each with a creative El Moro food offering paired with a unique Valentine’s-inspired cocktail or Steamworks craft beer,” said Dave Woodruff, El Moro’s general manager, in a news release.

The event is a cocktail party-type atmosphere, with guests invited to move among stations staffed with those knowledgeable about the food and beverages.

“We wanted an alternative to the traditional Valentine’s date night or dinner,” said El Moro’s Executive Chef Sean Clark.

“Not everyone has a significant other to be with on Valentine’s Day, so this party atmosphere offers an opportunity for singles, families, roommates,” said Clark.

Clark and his team, which includes El Moro Chefs John Feely, Jake Bryant and Jesse Burnett, oversaw development of the Valentine’s Day CRAFT menu:
