First National Bank of Durango recently hired Fredy Avellaneda, JR Smith and Kaitlin Trier to its team.
Avellaneda was hired as a drive-up teller at the main office. He is from Michuacan, Mexico, moved to California and has lived in Durango for six years, where he recently graduated from Durango High School and worked at Zia Taqueria.
Smith was hired as a universal banker at the main office. He is from Durango, attended University of Denver to study violin performance, attended Fort Lewis College and most recently worked for Animas Credit Union.
Trier was hired as a universal banker at the main office, also. She is from Durango, spent summers in Phoenix, Ariz., graduated from Durango High School and worked at Gazpachos for the last few years.
