First Southwest Community Fund will participate in the Energize Colorado’s Energize Colorado Gap Fund.
The fund will provide more than $25 million in small business loans and grants. Sole proprietors, businesses and nonprofits with less than 25 full-time employees (off-season count) may apply for up to a $15,000 grant and a $20,000 loan for a possible combined total of $35,000 in financial assistance.
Those who have received other federal funds, such as a Paycheck Protection Program loan or EIDL, are still eligible to apply, though these funds must go towards a new expense or loss needing coverage.
Colorado nonprofits with missions or programs that directly support economic development, small businesses or tourism are also eligible to apply.
