Gov. Jared Polis ordered U.S. and Colorado flags to be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings from sunrise to sunset Wednesday to honor former Colorado state Sen. Don Sandoval.
Sandoval died April 7 at his Denver home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Denver.
