The Durango Business Improvement District and the Durango Chamber of Commerce have announced their Holiday Rewards Program, which rewards people for shopping local during the holidays.
The program offers gift cards to people who shop at nearly any Chamber of Commerce or BID business this season. To view a list of all participating businesses, visit DowntownDurango.org/holiday-rewards-program.
“The holiday shopping season can make or break businesses, so we are working with BID to encourage, incentivize and reward people for shopping local at this important time of the year. Spend $100 and we’ll give you a $25 gift card as a reward. Spend $300, and you earn a $50 gift card. Spend $500, and earn a $100 gift card,” Director of the Durango Chamber of Commerce Jack Llewellyn said.
The rewards include gift cards from 20 businesses. There are 300 rewards available. Any purchase made over $25 at an eligible business between Nov. 26 and Dec. 19 (or while rewards last) can be used to reach spending thresholds. Shoppers can submit up to 10 receipts, and should check the website listed above for updates on remaining available rewards.
