La Plata Family Medicine has welcomed Taylor Vicory.
Vicory is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She recently graduated with a master’s of science in nursing from the University of Phoenix and received her bachelor’s of science in nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2013. She completed her preceptorship between family practice clinics in Phoenix, Arizona and Durango.
She enjoys all aspects of family care and has a special interest in women’s health with extensive knowledge of breast health related to experience in breast oncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has been a health care worker since 2003 and felt a calling to pursue her education to further serve the community.
She is an Arizona native and moved with her family to Colorado in 2018 to enjoy the cooler weather and outdoor recreational activities. She is excited to join the La Plata Family Medicine team and provide patient centered care personalized to the needs of individuals.
