Minding the mine

Miner Bob Ross of Durango talks with the Weather Channel’s “Prospectors” stars, Brian and Yolanda Busse, at the Four Corners Gem & Mineral Club on Wednesday night in Durango. Ross invited his friends – the Busses – to speak to the club. The Busses mine aquamarine crystals with their five sons on Mount Antero, the tallest peak in the Sawatch Range, about 12 miles southwest of Buena Vista.
