Natural Grocers to open 40th Colorado store in Pagosa Springs

Natural Grocers will open a store in Pagosa Springs at 8:30 a.m. Wednesdayat 755 San Juan St. Customers will have the chance to win up to $100 per week in free groceries for six months.

Natural Grocers offers organic produce, meat humanely raised without antibiotics, hormones or other growth promoters, free-range eggs, pasture-based dairy, GMO-free prepackaged bulk products, groceries that don’t contain any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives and more.

Family-run Natural Grocers was built on the premise that consumers should have access to affordable, high-quality foods and dietary supplements, along with nutrition knowledge to help support their own health.

Opening day activities will include a grocery giveaway sweepstakes, free gift bags to the first 100 customers, gluten-free muffin sampling from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., and ice cream social with dairy-free options from 4 to 6 p.m. and vendor demonstrations throughout the store.
