Southwest Colorado Disaster Assistance launches online PPE store for local businesses and individuals

The Southwest Colorado Disaster Assistance and the La Plata County Economic Recovery Task Force have announced a new online e-commerce platform for local businesses and individuals to purchase personal protective equipment to help keep the communities of Southwest Colorado safe.

The online store was created in response to the national shortage of PPE which is required by businesses to open safely and responsibly. Orders are made in advance online and are required to be picked up at the Durango Chamber of Commerce.

SWCODA and LPCERTF worked local manufacturers to leverage relationship and were able to purchase a large quantity of masks and half gallon bottles of hand sanitizer to offer at the best price possible.

Orders may be made is available at www.swcoda.org/ppe-supplies and picked up at The Durango Chamber of Commerce from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays, while supplies last.
