City of Durango crews will perform street light maintenance Thursday in alternating lanes of Florida Road, from East Animas Road (County Road 250) south to the intersection of 15th Street and East Third Avenue. Maintenance is scheduled to be completed between 9 a.m. and noon. During this time, traffic will be reduced to a single lane within the work zone. As crews move south from East Animas Road, traffic control and the lane closure will relocate as street lights are completed.
Traffic delays should be expected. Travelers are encouraged to use an alternate route to their destination on Thursday.
