Which school district is this?

It was both a Halloween prank and a tribute to a colleague Monday at the Ignacio School District administrative office. For the afternoon, it became the Bayfield School District office, complete with the sign on the outside of the building, the sign at the main entry, one inside at the reception counter, and district staff dressed as their Bayfield counterparts. They said they even answered phone calls as the Bayfield School District administration.

Superintendent Rocco Fuschetto took the part of his good friend, Bayfield Superintendent Troy Zabel, who is battling brain cancer. He scrounged up an Oregon Ducks hat to wear, because he said Zabel is a Ducks fan. Sarah McCaw became Bayfield Human Resources Director Misty Matthews. Ignacio Finance Director Marie Horn became Bayfield counterpart Amy Lyons. Bookkeeper Nancy Hansen became Bayfield's Pam Catron. Administrative secretary Janet Reinhardt became Bayfield's Ali Dyer. Curriculum Director Kathy Pokorney became Bayfield's Karen Rodberg. Ignacio Elementary School Principal Kathy Herrera didn't follow that pattern. She came as the cartoon grumpy old lady Maxine.

Staff also handed out candy to IES kids as they came by in their costumes.
