Adam Frisch is the only good fit for CD3

The Durango Herald flipped a coin and endorsed Adam Frisch’s opponent Jeff Hurd. I could not disagree more.

The only qualification the Herald offers is Hurd’s recent experience as a lawyer for Special Districts in the Grand Junction area. Most of the Herald’s editorial details Frisch’s extensive efforts to reach across the political divide, meeting with cattlemen’s associations, water districts, Club 20, county commissioners and law enforcement from Rifle to Pueblo over the past two years.

Adam will put country before the Democratic Party. In the process, he has ruffled a few feathers on the mainstream liberal Democratic side, like his position to not endorse Biden. If voters are looking for someone guaranteed to represent everyone, Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated – Frisch is the only choice.

If Hurd becomes our representative, he will also face a choice – either vote lockstep with the increasingly Christian nationalist Republican Party or be a one term representative. It’s only 18 months before the next Republican primary. Do you think his goal is to be a one-term representative? I have lived, worked and raised a family in Southwest Colorado for past 30-plus years. Out of all the candidates and representatives who have come and gone, Adam Frisch is the best choice we have had to represent us for decades. We need Adam’s moderate voice in Washington.
