Comfort Keepers franchise in Durango is putting together care packages to distribute to seniors sheltering at home because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Packages will include a package of sanitizing wipes, a deck of cards or small game, handwritten letters from caregivers, snacks and bingo cards for those seniors who are interested in playing virtual bingo. Caregivers making the drop off can help give information about how to join the virtual bingo group. The items are disinfected before being packaged by caregivers wearing gloves, and recipients are asked to discard the packaging and wash their hands after opening.
