I am an old lady and no longer capable of actively participating in politics. Since the problems of our country and world are at a crisis point, I feel I must do something.
What? I still have a voice.
Since my vision is limited, my caregivers and friends make calls for me to politicians of both major political parties, and then I take the phone.
Today, I made a call to the Colorado Republican Party. The call was answered by a nice sounding young man. I asked him, pleasantly, not confrontationally, if he lives in Colorado? He said, “yes.”
Then, I asked him if he is aware of the cuts made by Donald and Elon and to our first responders who fight wildfires.
His response was a mini-Donald Trump response – demeaning, hurtful, cruel and snitty.
So much for the future of the Republican Party.
