The times they are a-changing

In the late ’40s-early ’50s, a small boy could deliver newspapers a half mile from home with his little red wagon, alone and safe. Your home did not have to have the doors locked.

Slowly things changed that by the mid ’60s, prayer was removed from public schools, the Ten Commandments started to disappear from public facilities – God was being removed from American society. Being a gentleman, God withdrew and now today, we’re plagued with human trafficking, children’s bodies are being mutilated, people are confused about which sex they are, human life is being murdered in the womb, God’s definition of marriage destroyed and truth has become subjective. Has our society really gotten better? Has following Psalms 2:2, “the kings of the earth have set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against LORD and His Anointed, saying ‘let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us,’” brought us a better society?

Technology and accumulated learning have advanced many aspects of our lives, but abandoning God causes parents to be on guard against evil and a rift in our society that cannot be bridged by any earthly government, nor will it be. Only when God’s people will take a stand for righteousness and love to see people converted to faith in Jesus will America be restored. We’ve been silent far too long.
